Si les sciences ont généré des progrès indiscutables, elles suscitent aussi des inquiétudes. Auraient-elles trahi nos attentes? Seraient-elles responsables, en nous instituant «maîtres et possesseurs de la nature», du dérèglement climatique, de la pollution et de la destruction de la biosphère?
